Respected energy and digital solutions leader Lindsay Cowley has joined the team at metering and data intelligence provider Intellihub, heading up its New Zealand operations.
Mr Cowley brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Intellihub, from his leadership experience in large scale multi-national technology driven businesses across telecommunications, digital services, utilities, and software development.
Most recently, he was Chief Executive of global travel business the Online Republic Group.
Intellihub Group CEO Adrian Clark said Mr Cowley’s appointment comes as the business continues to grow its customer base and new customer focussed products.
“Lindsay has the right mix of skills and experience to ensure that Intellihub continues to be a leader in innovative, customer driven metering and data solutions for our New Zealand customers,” Mr Clark said.
“We now have more than one million advanced smart meters under management. We look forward to Lindsay leading our NZ operations and helping to build on this significant base and to maintain our position as the metering provider of choice in New Zealand.”
Mr Cowley said smart metering intelligence was the key to unlocking new energy services for homes and businesses and was an essential enabler in the energy transition across New Zealand and Australia.
“Smart metering is fundamental to this shift and enabling greater energy services inside the home,” he said.
“It’s exciting to be working with and leading the team at Intellihub NZ, with this critical focus on advanced metering and information solutions.
“It will enable energy generators, distributors and retailers to deliver smart applications and on-line tools that assist their end consumers to monitor and make informed decisions about the energy they use.”
