About Us

Our StoryThe Intellihub WayThe Road to SustainabilityOur EcosystemLife at IntellihubOur Team

Welcome to Intellihub.

If it involves making the future of sustainable energy across Australia and New Zealand less complicated, we’re interested in it.

As a digital energy management specialist, we provide smart metering devices and services to over 50 energy retailers across ANZ.

But the true breadth of what we do goes beyond the meter, touching everything from solar to water, virtual power plants to electric vehicle charging.

“We’re simplifying the transition to sustainable energy through our holistic ecosystem of smart devices and services.”

Our foundations

Our foundations have been built over a decade, starting out with the merger of Intellihub and Acumen metering operations. After that, we acquired New Zealand-based Metrix, and continued to grow from there. Today, we're 50/50 owned by Pacific Equity Partners and Brookfield, and we're expanding our services to encompass a broader range of device and data services.

Our future

We’ve been providing multi-utility services across electricity and water networks for residential, commercial utilities, embedded network and solar metering customers since 2018. Today, we specialise in asset management, installation, financing, and the day-to-day operations of smart meters, managing more than 2.5 million advanced smart meters, with plenty more on the way.

The Intellihub way

We're an independent company, which empowers us to operate with a commitment to our values and purpose.

For us, that means safety is always our top priority. We prioritise the protection of our employees, contractors, providers and partners through strict policies around qualification and training. And we protect our data through market-leading compliance, driven by our resourcing, systems and governance.

Sustainability at Intellihub

The responsibility to take care of our planet falls on everyone. As a business, we believe in the power of our choices to have a positive impact on our planet and our people. We use our Environment, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) framework to find ways we can make our operations as ethical, sustainable and supportive as possible.
